I'm having difficulty removing the last three screws. I don't want to break the dash board to remove it.
A: If you are talking about the entire dashboard (not the instrument panel) you may find you need to remove the windshield
Q: How much will it cost to get my Dodge Challenger cut and made into a convertible.?
A: ALOT. And it wont work like a factory drop top, it will have much higher risk of leaking and also wont pass safety regulations if it's not done properly. If you were looking at getting it done properly. I would say it's probably going to run you around $15,000 (USD)
Oh not to mention your destroying the value of the car. Hacked up cars are not worth as much. Just trade it in when they come out with the convertible edition. (they will. They are competing against the mustang...there will be a convertible)

Q: what year did the dodge challenger begin mass production?
please tell me when in the 60's was tye dodge challenger begin mass production
A: 1970 was its first year.
Now, depending on the car, 1970 model year probably started selling in 1969, so mass production would have begun sometime in the late spring or during the summer of '69.
Q: Which car is better: 2010 Chevy Camaro, 2010 Mustang, or 2009 Dodge Challenger?
Which car is the best bang for the buck?
The 2010 Chevy Camaro 1LT or the 2010 Ford Mustang V6 Premium, or the 2009 Dodge Challenger SE?
A: mustang all the way, because you can't afford a camero or challenger because dodge put a hefty price tag on them thinking there great! mustangs are middle class and low mid class person car, kind of cheap but still on the same level of the camero and challenger! plus the mustang always looks better than the bulky, hefty looking dodges! mustangs have always been america's true muscle car and as out sold dodge's camero and challeger!
Q: What other car would you pick over the Dodge Challenger 2009?
And why? (if the price is the same or close)
thx
A: It would have to be another Dodge product.
And to the people who think Chrysler is in trouble, GM is actually in worse shape, and at greater risk.
Q: What is the strongest and fastest engine possible to put into a 1970 r/t dodge challenger?
the price range is from $2-$100,000,000,000 but its gotta be street legal.
A: the 440 or the 426 hemi would be the strongest, and you don't have to worry about room in that one there's room to add any engine you want to have in it,for a big block though you,ll need a big block k-frame member,if money isn't a problem then go big block, good luck.
Q: Does anyone like the future dodge challenger?
I love it I want to get it when it comes out but i got 1 more year to learn how to drive.
My friends havent even heard of it has anybody else heard about this car?
A: Dodge Challengers =P
~~Yes, the all new Dodge Challenger will be sold through Dodge dealers very soon. It has a very unique styling, mainly taken from the hard-core orgininal Challenger. Basically, what they now have came up with... is a modern-ish, all new muscle car that retains all its original genes. Superb.
~~Here's a tip for the new car buyers. Um, you should never buy a vehicle during its first year on the market, because any problems that may come-up in the car is unkown...therefore, after you see the car in the Dodge Dealerships, hold on to your bank account, and wait for a year before purchasing one. This way, any problems with the car that may come up will be changed and altered.
~In the mean time, why not give the Ford Mustang a try? It's a value for the money.
~~ =P
Q: Who is interested in the Dodge Challenger that is supposed to be ready to order in Feb.?
Just curious as to when they will actually be in production.
I think I am going to treat myself to one of them.
WOOHOO!
A: I do, I do. I want one, six speed manual transmission please.
Q: is it expensive to get a 72 dodge challenger painted flat black?
?
A: depending if you block it down and then primer then block it again until you have found the high and low places in the body as it being 72 it is not most likely in perfect shape and if it is ,I would paint it the original color getting code off of the vin #
Q: Need opinion on the Dodge Challenger, ***only if you own one***?
If you own the Dodge Challenger, what is your opinion on it and do you really love it.
Which model do you have and was it worth the money?
What should extras/options should I avoid?
I am thinking of surprising hubby with a new one.
LOL, If only I could find an old one, in our price range and also to be able to get a loan!!
I think new is the only way at this point.
A: Totally love mine.
Mine's a 1971. Awesome car.
If you want a Challenger, you buy an old one that is gaining value. Not a new one that will quickly plummet in value.
The new ones, are crap, in comparison. Indeed, there really is no comparison.
If you want to get him a substandard product, get him a new one. If you want to get him something worthwhile, get an old one.
Old ones are cheaper than new, also.
