Q: What kind of wheels should I get for my 2009 Dodge Charger?
Just bought the car and it is black. I want some nice black rims so I can have that whole black on black effect. Any suggestions? Also, how will new rims effect my gas mileage?

A: nigga, what are dimensions of the "rims"? how much bigger are they going to be than stock? And are you going to get then properly aligned unlike all your other brothers.

Q: How can I tell if my 2009 Dodge Charger R/T is RWD or AWD?
I know I can just look under the car, but I wouldn't know what I was looking at, and even if I did, I don't have a roller to get up under the car. Can I tell by using a VIN number search? What's a decklid? It's funny how people say "no offense" and then they diss you. I deserve the car because I have a job and can afford it. I work for my money and this is my toy. Now answer the question.. the owners manual is for all chargers

A: It's a 2009! Look in the glove box for the owner's manual...the Vin decoder should be listed in there. The best alternative is to call the dealer.

Q: Where can i rent a 2010 or 2009 black Dodge Charger with tinted windows and black rims for my prom?
Please help me and if i cant them tell me that too thanks! Please help me and if i cant them tell me that too thanks! ps. i kno im not 21 but my dad will rent it for me

A: My rental company rents Chargers (minus the tint and rims), however, you have to be 21 to drive our cars--even if your dad rents the vehicle for you. No exceptions. If you get caught, you will be arrested for unauthorized use of a rental car, the car will be impounded and towed to one of our nearest rental facilities, and all charged to daddy's credit card (with or without his permission), which is required for our rentals. Plus, your daddy will never be able to rent from us again. Just so you know.

Q: 2009 Dodge Charger SRT-8 or 2010 Chevy Camaro?
Which do you prefer

A: I'm assuming you mean to compare the Charger SRT-8 to the 2010 Camaro SS. At this point I wouldn't want either, even if I had that kind of money to burn. If you said 2009 Challenger R/T or S/RT I would have to go with the Dodge. This would be a more realistic comparison. I think the Charger was a good idea, and obviously a success, but a bad name to stick on a car with 4 doors. Polara or Monaco would probably have been more fitting, and I'm sure would have sold equally as well. I will give Chrysler this, at least the Charger R/T and SRT have the power to rocket these massive 4300lb hulks down the road, and just about snap your neck from a dead stop. Even the Challenger is heavy, a well equipped R/T weighing it at over 2 tons. I like the "mobster" look of the Chrysler 300C, but I can't get over that grille on the Charger. I will say Chrysler/Dodge interior build quality has made a significant improvement in recent years, as long as gray or tan is your favorite color. And now for the Camaro. Retro late 1960's/early 70's is the obvious theme the Mustang and Challenger are going for. I guess I can't knock Chevy for sort of doing their own thing. From the sides and rear I love the shape. The interior look well put together. I don't like the front, namely the nose. From certain angles it just looks too long and pointed to me. It is also the first year of a brand new bodystyle (and engine for the V6). I believe the SS engine, the 6.2 Liter V8, has been in the Pontiac G8 for a while so it's had time to prove itself. I'm not fond of the little "GM" badge behind the front wheel on the Camaro, or any GM car for that matter. Are we having an identity crisis that we need to remember who builds our cars? I'm also wondering why Chevy isn't offering a mid range V8 (like maybe the 5.3 Liter), to compete directly (in price and performance) with the Mustang GT and Challenger R/T. I would expect the V8 equipped Camaro to be far overpriced for most people. Correct me if I'm wrong, it may even come with a gas guzzler tax. Although with 400HP and a manual transmission, and 500lbs less weight than the Dodge, it should easily dust an SRT (Challenger or Charger) in a race. So in my opinion Dodge wins with style, but Chevy wins with performance. I am pretty bitter at GM for killing the Camaro and the Firebird in the first place. Kudos to Ford, the Mustang is the only original pony car to never be axed and "reintroduced." The GTO had it right with performance but failed miserably with style. GM had the Mustang licked with performance in 2002 (I'm referring to mass produced Trans ams, Camaro SS, and Mustang GT here, not special editions), but terrible fit and finish and downright ugly style in my opinion. Not that the Mustang of the day was anything to brag about either. My point is if GM would have stayed in it with the Camaro and Firebird, we would have also seen a much better new '05-present Mustang. And Pontiac, if you bring back the bird, let's call it that, and not G4, G6, G8. Names like that belong on vitamins, not cars. The mustang has had no true competiton since 2002, and is responding for 2010 by a modest restyle, beefier V8 engines and supposedly a new twin turbo V6 is in the works. I would say first year flaws and bugs will definately be an issue with both the Bowtie and its Mopar rival. We could always dream that GM and Chrysler have learned their lessons, and taken care of problems on the assembly line before you're in the driver's seat. My advice to all is if you like true V8, rear wheel drive American muscle get your hands on one of these cars soon. If the hippies and tree huggers keep spewing this fuel shortage and global warming hype and have their way, these cars will be gone forever, NEVER to return.

A: I wish I had parents to buy my vehicle. Be Happy with what you get. I have an 18 and a 17 year old that do without because I cant afford it yet. I wish I could get them something but I cant. Be happy with what you get damnit because you are lucky to have parents that can afford to get you a car. You are more lucky than 95% of the teenagers in the USA. Give your parents a hug and let them know how much you appreciate what you got because of them. Trust me it will make there day to know that there child appreciates all that her parents got her. Trust me give them a hug.

Q: I am buying my first car and I need someone to convince me which one should I buy?
I am looking for a sport sedan with high-performance and reasonable price (ranging from 20,000 to 35,000) I have selected several cars I would consider buying: 2007 BMW 335xi, 2009 Nissan Maxima, 2009 Pontiac G8, 2009 Dodge Charger R/T or SXT. Or is there another car that I might like?

A: put that money towards college. college loans suck. get a car for like 10-20k. first cars are what you learn on. dont get something that doesnt have one mark on it bc when you do your parents will spot it and yell yell yell. get something used. nice but used. if you put a scratch on it blame the previous owner. dont get a car that stands out. cops love to mess with those ppl. and jealous students might key your car. get like an 2004 2005. nother newer. wait till your out of college to get a brand new car.

Q: Acrylic paint conditioner on new car?
I am buying a black 2009 Dodge Charger. I have been reading that the best way to preserve the beautiful shiny finish is to use an acrylic paint conditioner rather than wax. Is the conditioner better? How is it to apply? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the tips. How often should one wax ones car?

A: You can buy conditioner, and it will work well. Remember, though, that by far the best way to preserve the finish is to buy the correct washing products (that means no dishwashing soap to wash the car with), using the correct cleaning tools (meaning soft chamois and detailing brushes, and not dad's old tidy-whitey underwear), and proper post-wash prep before your protectant application. Do all this, and then you can condition, or apply several coats of the best wax you can afford. Yes - several. One is good, two is better, and three will do the trick. Finally, if you can, protect the finish by parking out of the sun and away from any sap-dropping trees.

Q: Should I trade my 08 dodge charger sxt for a 08 350z? Guy told me that they have a $2500 rebate on the Z's...?
Or do you think I should wait for the 2009 nissan 370z to come out and "pray" for a early rebate on them being of the economical crisis we're experiencing or just keep my 08 dodge charger sxt? The Charger is cool but cops have them, then cabs, and u know the pattern.

A: everybody has got a charger now and all the sudden they don't look so cool when there's a lot of them around, that wouldn't be a bad deal on a trade right now,if that's what you want then go for it,i like the 350 z its a car you don't see much of,and they do drive good ,its up to you, me i would make the trade i think just to have something different, good luck
